About Pauline Pearsall

Pauline Pearsall has been in the business of staging quality homes since 1995. Her work can be viewed in all neighborhoods of the Bay Area. She has been avidly collecting furniture, home furnishings, beautiful textiles and other lovely household items, even as she earned an MSW degree and pursued a successful career as a professional social worker. Choosing and arranging flowers is another lifelong passion. A garden that Pauline designed was a featured stop on Oakland's most prestigious garden tour. Pauline also worked for years as a professional seamstress specializing in furniture coverings, and designed quilts that have been selected for publication in best-selling quilt books.

As someone who purchased a condemned Victorian house in Oakland and restored it to mint condition while acting as my own general contractor, Pauline well understands the problems that face all homeowners and home improvers.

In recent years she has been privileged to work with a number of the finest Realtors in this market, an experience which has taught her to be an integral member of the sales team, helping each house to look its very best at the open house and for as long as it stays on the market. Pauline's motto is: "This is a treatable problem!"

Pauline Pearsall Staging owns a large warehouse that is overflowing with furniture, accessories, paintings and plants, and a room filled with thousands of pillows (see photo, left), giving Pauline and her trained and skillful crews the flexibility to create elegant multi-room environments in houses of any style and period

PPS is constantly updating and adding to their inventory, giving them the ability to stage a large number of houses at the same time with no need to lease from outside vendors. They have a proven track record of quick sales and high sale prices; it is not uncommon for PPS to "take over" houses that haven't sold and then have them sell quickly and in excess of the asking price.
